We finally have a window cleaner!
I tried and tried to find one and messaged a few more a couple of weeks ago and had no replies, and a couple of nights later there was a knock on the door and would you believe that it was a chap asking if we needed a window cleaner!? He did a quote, I agreed to it and he said they'd be in touch. Two weeks went by and I thought we wouldn't hear anything but he texted yesterday to say they'd be here today.
I now have lovely sparkly windows!!
Our doctor had thought the contracture was not far enough advanced, but according to the consultant, it falls within the required parameters, we were even offered a choice of dates! We have health insurance but often you could be waiting several months. It will be a day case, although he will have a general anaesthetic. I'll have to dig deep to channel my inner nurse
