Ria, we’ve got Sky fibre unlimited (‘normal’ broadband was incredibly slow and unreliable here) and, before today and this new deal, we’ve been paying £20 for broadband and £18.99 for line rental.

I think we could get cheaper but talking to neighbours there only seems to be Sky and BT who are reliable in this area, some signed for Talk Talk and had constant problems with poor service and we can’t get Virgin at all here.

Is that per month jo?
I'm a bit restricted because I won't pay by DD
Talk talk won't because of this and bt add £4-0 because it's a paper Bill what happened to cash payments

Well done Jo! One of the perks of Mick's job is the free broadband. I've been known to let these persistent Virgin or Talktalk people you see in town try to offer me a great deal, then watch their faces when they ask what we pay at the moment...... ;)

Since our initial yearly introductory package ended, we pay £53.99/ month for BT broadband, landline and free weekend calls, which is expensive, I know.

But I can also see from the town's Facebook pages that there's a lot of Virgin and TalkTalk customers locally who don't get good reception.

I wouldn't want to use TalkTalk anyway, having once, many years ago, had a stand-up row with an over-persistent Carphone Warehouse (the forerunners of TalkTalk) cold-calling salesman, but that's a purely personal position. :)

You've all seen those horror pictures in the movies of the dark, gloomy haunted house, with cobwebs hanging down from every conceivable nook and cranny.

It takes 1 Dorset Spider just under 24 hours to recreate a similar effect inside our car …..
