My MIL is Irish, but has lived in Norwich and the Midlands with her (late) Glaswegian husband so her accent is a combination of all of those...and no doubt she's added Welsh into the mix now too Depending on who she's talking to, ie where they come from, her accent intensifies to match theirs
John's aunt Norah too. A Glaswegian who has lived in the US for 50+ years. Her accent is best described as Glasmerican

The funniest accent I ever heard was friend's son who grew up in Devon then moved to Southport

We once lived next door to a fella from Nigeria who had lived in South Shields for a long time......weirdest accent EVER!!!
