Not a sausage lover, but our local butcher asked me (as an English lady ) to try their new sausages.

I'm going back tomorrow and will tell him they're the best we've had for years Full of meat, no gristle or lumps of nasty bits and very tasty, if a trifle salty.

So I'll be getting them again then

I know I mentioned the other week our 'odd' neighbour who doesn't really speak to anyone.
The doorbell rang this morning and it was a man delivering flowers from Serenata (not for me), asking if I'd take them in for the neighbours - I made sure he'd leave a card saying they were here because they simply don't answer their door - and when I looked at the label, under special instructions it says "Leave with neighbour number 24" ie us.
How presumptuous!
