Oh, and Buster, the best bet would be to fly to Lisbon, then head down. Much easier.

Bummer, then Di. That'0s how we'll do the England trip. next year.

For you then, it's the plane to Faro, taxi to the train station, then it's only a couple of stops up to Funchera. Takes about an hour or less, I think.

or we come and pick you up in Hiho :D :D

We cannot sign anything for the house yet, as

a) we have to wait until the buyers for this sign the promissary contract and give us a deposit

and b)

because the house is classed as rural, the neighbours, now we have made an offer, have first refusal :o :shock: :shock: We met one lady this morning and they won't want it, the people down the bottom of the track won't either, another neighbour is the son of the owner, so he won't and the other one is an elderly Portuguese lady who just has a small plot of land. And she probably won't - well, we hope not :roll: :lol: :lol:

They have to be informed and have 8 days to make an offer, which has to be exactly the same as ours, how much money, time scale and cash buyers.

Just a formality, Tom said, but has to be done.

One money transfer now done, so tomorrow I can send the reservation dosh off to the agent up there.
