Only 25C here, will have to put the bedspread and sheet over us tonight ;)

As him and me were saying, a completely different type of heat. Clammy and close over there, just hot here  8-)

Yes that's the difference, I think, the humidity makes it uncomfortable, I like the dry heat you get ;) :D

We haven't long finished dinner! :)
It's not so bad here now, definitely cooled down a bit. All the doors and windows have been open all day, should be fine by the time we go to bed whenever that is ;)

Yes definitely. It must have been horrific over our old way today, Heathrow was the hottest place in the UK and broke July records  :?

We have two air conditioners, one in the lounge and one in the bedroom, and they've been on and off most of the day.

This morning when I fetched the paper the heat was almost overpowering, and I needed to choose a route home where
I was able to walk in the shade of trees. I've never known it so hot. When I got back to the Lodge, I put a notice by the
main door warning some of the old dears here not to venture too far in this heat. The rest of the day has mostly been
watching tennis on the TV. It looks as though we might get some rain tomorrow.

All windows open and it is still 28.5C.

Tomorrow is reported to be more comfortable.

Our attic bedroom is stifling! 36 degrees!!!!!!!!!

I think I might sleep downstairs tonight.
