Very true - I was talking to another granny at the school gate yesterday, she was a few years behind me in school so is 3 years younger. Her daughter (who coincidentally was in Miss Osc's class in the same school) has 5 children :o the eldest is in Michael's class and will be 6 tomorrow. She spends her days delivering and collecting children between creche, playschool and school. I used to see it a lot in the post office too, single mums living at home and grandparents virtually bringing up the child or children. I'm just glad that we were able to let Miss Osc and SIL go away for this wedding, they really needed the break and when they Facetimed the children this evening they looked and sounded so relaxed.

I am thinking of getting something for Oliver, for when the new baby is born, in September.

Maybe a footie kit?

I've just been informed, by an estate agent, up in Alentejo, that house prices in Portugal will rise by a minimum of 2% next year.

So that means we can up our price by 38,000

Yeah, right 8-) 8-) 8-)

Give it a few more years, and we'll be back to where we were when we first thought of selling - 275,000 ;)
