Do you have Gumtree over there? It's a sale/swop site over here and you can put on free ads. I put up our headboard and a brass standard lamp, offering them for free, today at about 3.50pm and by 4pm someone had arranged to collect them this evening :o He did too, so that is the very last of our surplus stuff gone :D :D

What a shopping trip. Went into Boots for some make up. Huge queue at the main checkout with one person serving so I ran around to the No7 counter. The woman there was serving someone and there was another woman and her friend waiting. I realised that I'd be spending £14.97 and in my purse was a voucher for 150 points if I spent £15 so I ran and grabbed some cheap paracetamol to take it over £15. Came back and the woman was still being served, and the same two women were still waiting. We stood there for five minutes waiting for this woman to finish being served, she was asking questions about everything  From there I went to Asda. I soon remembered why I prefer shopping at Tesco to Asda. Asda is hell on earth. Anyway I got what I needed and went to the self service checkout, where I noticed I was overcharged by 21p on the peppermint essence I'd bought so off to customer service I went. She refunded the difference and I asked if they still do the £2 giftcard when you're overcharged. Yes they do but it didn't look like I'd have got one if I hadn't asked. On the way home I went into the Tesco Express down the road. The self service checkout there shortchanged me by £1 so that had to be sorted.

But now I'm home and Sleepless In Seattle is on TV :D
