So I said, if the new car is HiHo, you'e now Tonto, what does that make me?

The Loan Ranger, he said, but with a white mask -

I've got the most enormous panda eyes  as my gogs are enormous and I can't do without them.

Must send a pic over

I thought my iPod had broken this morning. I switched it on and selected an album to listen to but there was no sound. I paused it, turned it up full, turned it down low, picked a different song and still nothing. It'd done that before when a bit of fluff got into the socket that the charger goes into and once I'd shaken the fluff out it worked perfectly so I checked that. No fluff. Switched it off, restarted it. Still nothing. Kept changing the volume. Picked another song. Nothing worked.

Do you know how I fixed it? I put the earbuds in my ear. They work better there than when they're being held in my hand

Usually you can hear the tinny sound of the music when they're not in but the wind and traffic (I was walking back from the gym) drowned that out.

Looks like I'm going to be joining Ally and Debbie in this running lark. John said that some charity corporate event had been mentioned for some of them to run in, 5 miles through mud and obstacles and it's something to do with JCB at Uttoxeter, in aid of the NSPCC. John's a runner, he used to compete in his teens and would go all over the country for athletics meets. Anyway, I said that if they entered in it (and it seemed like a big if at the time) I'd train with him...I can run a bit, a mile or so without stopping.

So yeah, they've entered a team from the office so I've told John that training starts this weekend. Get the difficult first few runs out of the way as soon as possible.
