WM thank you, that will no doubt help me and others too, I'll put the link on the computers board with a sticky so we can easily refer to it - and refer others to it :)

When you have say VV open, pull down the screen from the top right with your finger and on the top right of the tab top that appears will appear three icons, the nearest is the big star and that is for bookmarks.

I'm not sure what make and model of tablets they are but have you tried typing them into You Tube?

You might find tutorials on there. Makes it so much easier if you can actually watch someone doing things rather than reading instructions.

Gal, a few things that I have found:

Touching the screen lightly makes things happen that I did not expect - apps open, and so on..

Touching it with pressure allows you to scroll up-down, side-to-side.

The stylus is more accurate than your finger/thumb.

There are hidden controls if you tap the left or right edges of the screen.

You have to have a Google account for a lot of the apps to work properly - make sure to remember the email it gives you and your password when opening an account - you will need it for Kindle.

Do not open the account on your laptop, the app store will tell you that you have no registered devices.

There is a learning curve, but if you stick with it it does come together. I bet that Jen can help when she is home.

Don't give up, never give up.

Yes.....I don't have a Mick....and Jen is all apple, has no comprehension of anything that is not i...... So I am all alone with this learning curve (apart from you lot! ;))

I already have a google account, I opened that when I first got my android phone as I did try to get a couple of apps on that. So it's a start. :|
