I didn't fall over - but I broke a bottle of wine
Went to the village earlier, but because of buying the mags with the freebies (see Boutique), although they're little ones, I couldn't also carry a bottle of wine; we have red but I usually drink white.
So as soon as Bb got home I said right, the chicken's got another 20 mins at least, I'll pop up and get some, and grabbed the car keys.
The second I got into the car it started to rain, and by the time I got to Tesco it was hammering down
There was a big hoo-ha as just before, a bunch of kids had scarpered from the self-service till with only one of them paying, so the till was waiting for money and we all had to queue at the normal till - it was quite busy.
So it was a bit of a rush; the wine had 10% off if you bought 3, so I'd got 3, seemed sensible

But the girl put all 3 in one bag, I didn't really think, had to run back to the car in the pouring rain, put the bag on the floor in front of the passenger seat...not driving fast, but as I turned onto the main road they crashed into the metal seat support and into each other, and I realised from the bang that one (if not more!) had broken
Sure enough, one broken bottle. The car has a storage bit by the passenger seat, in the floor - we lifted the cover and it was full of wine

We baled it out using a plastic cup (bendable), blotted it with about half a roll of kitchen towel, then I had to get changed - absolutely drenched - and will hope for the best
On the plus side, better than if I'd only bought one bottle and it had broken
