Such a shame Lissie
We're very fortunate as these gardens are all walled, it breaks the wind up a bit - although I could hear the neighbours over the back of us both out early, they obviously have a fair bit of damage but I can't see that. Will no doubt see them later.
We'd moved all the pots etc a couple of weeks ago when it was bad, and put the ones we could lift into the shed. None of our trees are big enough yet to cause damage. I'm ever so glad we got the new shed last year, that old one would have been blown to kingdom come!

Very pleased to hear the travellers have finally arrived at least to this country.

Gosh it's a lovely morning here with the sun just coming out. No sign of any wind at all.

Look after yourselves. I heard about this storm on the news today.

Shower about seven this morning. Lots of blue sky now and the wind has dropped. Have walked and got the paper. Hopefully we will have a good drive this evening for our dance.
Hope everybody else who has to travel is safe and does not have delays.

Shell he was coming by train, but they cancelled the local service to Reading, where he gets his connection. Mick saw I was gutted when Chris rang to tell me, and immediately volunteered to drive to fetch him! I have a man in a million, I really do!!

Goodness knows what time they will arrive, but as long as they are here for the big day :?
