Her trip to Borneo is three weeks tomorrow - from 6th to 20th of April :)

The degree course might well involve more travel - in their third year they are ecouraged to find placements. Last year one lad did three months in Russia studying wolves, one girl studied rock lobsters in Australia, another studied elephants in Sri Lanka or might have been Thailand, another went to S Africa.........but then another got a placement studying sea birds on the Lincolnshire coast  It all depends on their individual interests :) A lot of their graduates work abroad as well - they have a very high graduate employment rate, 94% of last year's found work in their preferred field :)

In their first year they go to Spain for 4 days but I've totally forgotten what they study there :?

Lots of brilliant opportunities there then, and how refreshing that so many can get work doing what they want to do afterwards.

Fantastic opportunities, and I'm very glad B has decided so early in life just what path she wants to take and how to go about it. She's worked very hard to get this far - youngsters these days can have amazing opportunities if they just work hard and reach out for them I think :)
