I get my ink from here

http://www.cartridgepeople.com

If I buy the HP cartridge it is about £13 but the compatible one is £2.98!!!

We have one printer we cannot use the compatible ones in but they work a treat on the other.

And if they don't work, they are more than happy to take them back.

I only ever buy one at a time, replacing them when they are getting low, as I don't want to buy a whole set then have the printer die on me with all those inks left over but they told me last time I ordered one that they will take them back up to six months after purchase.

That IS good service, and well worth knowing about.

I am about to make an order for an 8 pack, two each of XL black + standard cyan, magenta and yellow at only £12.46 the pack. :D :D :D

Thanks molly, I think that may have been where we got the previous lot - all I have to do is remember to order them before we have to print off a load of important stuff ;) :D

After the swearing with the ink, I had the swearing with the cheapo paper (had previously had decent stuff)
It's thrown my schedule back by several hours
Finally managed to print the boarding passes - and despite not paying for allocated seats, we're sitting together :)
Keep looking at them

Can't check-in for return flight with unaloccated seates  Will double-check tomorrow.
But couldn't get it to print the train timetable - so tomorrow will also be shelling out for better paper ;)
