Glad it's off Di and of today's business is over Eclairs sound scrummy

Think that's the worst of the weather over with now

We had to shut all the shutters as the wind was so strong and the rain berlimey

But the wind has now dropped, it's still raining, but gentle rain and the birds are tweeting away in the garden

I've just been out weeding the paving, picking up dead bits and generally tidying - it looks a lot neater! Mick is going to jetwash the paving, prep the decking for staining (I'm going to do that, I'm fine with stain or paint outdoors) and he's going to spray the fencing with stain, and I'm going to oil the garden furniture. Hopefully this weekend if the weather is good, no kids here

I'm waiting on D to suggest a day out to Trioscape at Highnam the sooper-dooper garden centre, so I can stock up on plants for the pots, I want that done by Easter as my sister and family are coming for a few days

Ahhhh so that's where I've seen her before!!! The blonde curly haired lady in the Fifty Plus clothes ad on telly - it was driving me nuts as I hate it when I can't place a face................

She was the girl with dark curly hair in the George Michael video "Last Christmas" I just read it in a magazine.......

Finding somewhere quiet for coffee and chat is a real pain. The place my friend and I were going to have coffee was so noisy with the chat and the sound of the coffee machine Anyway, we had a wander and found a lovely bar in a hotel that had soft sofas, lovely coffee and despite it being quite busy, it was easyish to hear my friend. So a nice morning of chat and coffee, which I have been missing

As far as dentists go, I was really impressed this afternoon

Okay, so it was 60 euros, but 45 minute appointment and very professional all round - far better than the one in our village.
