That dog of mine really doesn't like the rain. John took him for a walk while I was unpacking the shopping. It was dry when they went out but they were back within 10 minutes as it had started raining quite heavily. John said that he asked Billy if he wanted to come home and he turned around and ran all of the way home

God I understand why the divorce rate goes up after the Christmas period.

I could happily kill him. He only has to breathe and he annoys me at the moment.

Roll on Monday when we all get back to normal routine.

It's funny, but I had murderous feelings yesterday, the first time I've ever felt like that.
Not towards my dear wife, but towards many other old 'dears' here, may I hasten to add.
We have a weekly coffee morning here, and the majority of women like to arrange the
seating in our communal lounge into one big circle, which I absolutely hate. The furniture
is normally arranged in small groups, and looks like a first class hotel. Put into a big circle
transforms it into the appearance of a second class nursing home. After my private bout
of anger yesterday I have calmed down now and have decided that I shall have to cease to
attend the weekly meetings in future, as I don't want to feel like that again.
