I think last year they came off at the start of January - I put them on, on the 1st December and off again on Jan 1st, so I'll take them down tomorrow, I reckon, when I take down my tree and RL decorations I would have done it today but as Di said I've had my family visiting so have been busy

We've started to slowly take the decorations down, in between finishing off the last of the Christmas food ..... just a few packets of biscuits and a jar of pickled onions to go now ....

The 6th is Weds so that would mean working all day and then coming home and taking all them all down

You are definitely bah humbugging now Shell......it takes far less time to take the decs down than put them up.

And even though in Spain we still have the Eve of Kings (massive parades and madness) and then the Day of Kings; I always take my decs down on the Sunday after New Year.

Which is tomorrow. (ooops looking at the time that's today!)

Well, my mum died on Christmas Day so I have plenty of reason to find the season very difficult, but I like seeing other people enjoy themselves, so it's ok with me

The VV decorations are coming down now, not because anyone has pressured me into it, but because it's time. Happy New Year everyone xxxxx
