I have several pairs of high heeled boots, those stretchy ones that I like to wear with dresses ;) I have one pair of silvery strappy sandals (very expensive that I wore to get married in) with a diamante buckle which look amazing but cripple me  and a pair of shiny black stilletoes, ditto red ones, and that is about it in the way of evening shoes! Mostly I own boots, and flip flops

  Hilarious to think of it now, but I ran from one end of Swindon town centre to the other in those strappy heels when Mick and I were late for our own wedding - if you remember the story :P

Well on the morning of our wedding we held off leaving for the registry office as late as we could, as my sister and parents were coming over from Luton, didn't know Swindon at all and were going to follow us into town. They were late, hold ups on the motorway, so in the end we had to leave without them. By that time there was nowhere to park near the registry office (it was a month before Christmas) so we parked in the multi-storey which was right at the other end of the pedestrianised town centre. We had ten minutes to get there so Mick tucked the 4 year old Harry under his arm like a rugby ball, I hitched up the hem of my lovely beaded frock and we all - me Mick and Becks - belted through a busy town centre in our wedding finery, scattering bewildered Christmas shoppers in our wake!!!! How I ran it on 3 1/2 inch heels I will never know

We got there just as the registrar was telling our guests that he'd give us a few more minutes and then we'd lose our slot   My sister and parents got there just as we were saying our vows so didnt miss it :D :D :D
