 Jo I'm glad it survived this time!! Mick hasn't done it yet, he reckons he'll do it tomorrow afternoon as they should be finished work by then! If not it will wait until Sunday, it's only 'us' until then so doesn't really matter I guess :? As long as it's done by the time my sister and BIL come I'm easy

I bought a lot of those part baked petit pains and baguettes, really cheap in Morrisons :D , so we won't run out of bread, and no waste because I'll only bake them as and when :D

Osc, I hope the heavy head feeling comes to nothing xx

Aggers, Merry Christmas, and I hope you have a wonderful time away xxxxxx

Osc can you spare some for over here please? :D
Failing that, is the recipe online at all?

We did the shopping, it really wasn't bad at all - but then that's an advantage of not bothering to drive several miles to the big supermarket branches, if you only have big branches they would be heaving. We timed it just right though, got there about 1.30 and parked straight away, but by the time we left they were queuing for a space.
The small Tesco in town does a brilliant job of keeping well-stocked, we got a turkey breast joint, one of their tiramisus for Saturday, and everything on our list, and only one person ahead of us in the queue :) Then the couple of bits we knew they don't have (rice noodles for tonight), we popped into Waitrose on the way home.

Bought some mince pie cookies in Tesco, they're nice :)
I was tired though, didn't sleep very well last night when I could have really done with it, so still no wrapping done, had a kip instead  :D
There's still tomorrow ;)

Here you go Di - expensive enough to make, but my resident food taster tells me it is gorgeous  I'm unable to try it myself as I am very migraine prone at the moment.

That looks gorgeous! I haven't got all of the ingredients to make a tray of Rocky Road but I'm going to have to make some when I get to the shops next.

Thanks Osc :)
I might adapt it to what we have - there's most of a bag of mini marshmallows in the cupboard, and white chocolate, and cranberries left from the party chicken...also, have copied the link and will pop it on the kitchen board so it's easier to find ;) :D
