Absolutely agree and I am biased too being born and bred in Edinburgh.

I love this quote by Alexander McCall Smith

“This is a city of shifting light, of changing skies, of sudden vistas. A city so beautiful it breaks the heart again and again.”

or this one:

“If London was an alien city, Edinburgh was another planet”
― Jess Walter, Beautiful Ruins

:D :D :D

I am making myself homesick, think it may be time for a visit. :D :D
