'morning everyone.

Yup, we are all ok. Didn't get to sleep until about 2 a.m. as it was so noisy but we were not flooded. A couple of the houses facing the sea have broken windows, one only the outer pane of their double glazing but the other has had the whole window unit pushed into the house. Must be a bit of a mess in there.

There is debris all over the place and half the beach is on the esplanade along with tree trunks, branches and general rubbish.

Lights flickered a few times but thankfully we had no power cuts.

Lovely sunny morning now :D

Wonder when the next onslaught will be.

Is all well with you Di?

It is good to hear that you and Di are safe and well Molly.

I have just been watching the news and seen the devastation around Milford - it looks as though the contents of a builder's and scrap yard have been dumped on it. :o :o :o

Yes we're ok Molly, have just been posting on the Morning thread :)
Gosh it does sound terrible right near you, I bet you're glad you're no nearer the sea!

WM that's the next village along, about 3 miles away.
We've only just got internet connection back so I don't know if there's anything about the town yet.

We haven't heard anything from Fugi have we?
If she's lucky it's because she's away, but hope she's ok too x
