They are a good half hour drive from me too Ria.

I tend to go about once every 3or 4 weeks to stock up and then try to go to Iceland (in town - about 5 minutes away) or the village store for milk and bread.

There is a pets at home between Aldi and Lidl so I go there now for the dog food and buy a months supply which I store in the shed (60 tins of Pedigree Chum).

Slightly off topic but yesterday I went to Castleford market and got a head of broccoli, a big bag of mushrooms, a bag of green beans and a bag of carrots for - £3.77.
All fresh stuff too. Sometimes I forget about the markets, but you can still get good cheap food there.
