:D Much more portable then my mum's - when she got rid of it, it took my dad and two other fellas to shift it :shock: :lol: :lol:

We've had a lovely meal out, not long got back. Harry said thanks for the best birthday ever!! So that can't be bad! :D :D 8-)

Sorry that is a bit vague but there are many variants and I was thinking of a rotating bobbin, Singer I believe have reciprocating ones or did have in older models but there must still be a way of adjusting the timing. As the needle starts to rise it will leave a loop of cotton and the point on the bobbin holder should just catch this and as this moves it pulls the cotton from the bobbin through to the top. Best I can do and good luck.
