the first one (of many) that springs to mind is doing a superman dive down the spiral staircase at Bank tube stop. I fell forwards, and just kind of leaned into the corner so slid all the way down. OK, so what if I was running moments before trying to catch the last tube after a night at the old watling.. really cant see the relevance.. thankfully all I had to show for it was a tiny wee graze on my little finger. I was SOO lucky i didn't break my neck.

my other one was also at Bank Tube station, and maybe the old watling was involved again, I can't really recall. I was walking along the platform with a male colleague on one side, and Hubby on the other, when for absolutely no reason I just veered off to the left and walked straight into a vending machine. I still to this day have no idea what happened. I'm so lucky it wasn't the other direction as I would have fallen onto the tracks. The embarrassing part, (as if that wasn't bad enough) was a lady came up to me and asked me if I was ok, and did I feel safe with who I was with etc etc etc.... It was heartening to know that someone cared, but wow, was I embarrassed. It took me a while to live that one down.

This morning at Lidl. Went swiftly to the only open check out which was empty in front of several with full trolleys and hurrying I knocked my 4 pint plastic milk bottle onto the floor. It burst. :(

A few years ago at work, wednesday morning. I felt a thread just on the crotch of my trousers. It was irriitating me so I decided to pull it off. So I did.
I then thought "Was that the back of my trousers that just moved?" I looked at the length of thread that I had just pulled out and my heart sank a bit. Furtively exploring the seat of my pants revealled a gaping nothingness; I had split my pants from the crotch right up the backside to my waistband.
Ten seconds after I made this discovery, the fire alarm went...
It was a practice, but we all had to evacuate a four storey building- I went last!
We had to come back into the building and up the stairs; again I went last!
In between this I had been loitering outside, trying to look nonchalant with my back to the building, with the cold March wind whistling through the gap in my trousers...
I was told subsequently that i looked as shifty as hell - so much for being nonchalant!
