I also made some sausage rolls (the half-pack of sausagemeat kept shouting at me from the freezer), and have half-dusted downstairs plus hoovered.
With what I'd already done that's a lot for me

Bought some wonderful venison today, around eight big steaks, and some small ones...a haunch! I have plenty of red currant jelly. Gus will not even look at them never mind eat them..I will save them for a dinner party. I also have a large amount I bought from Nisan in the freezer. I cannot resist buying venison when I see it in the butchers (where I get a good deal)

It was the town's Christmas street fair and lights switching on today, so as Bb was home early we went down there
Had some lovely tasters Wild venison casserole in Cook (which we might possibly have for Christmas dinner); some yummy yummy bread - cider & apple, walnut, cranberry & orange...handmade chocolates, cheese...
Oh and even gorgeous Belgian chocolates in M&S My goodness they were lovely, but actually far too big

There was a hog roast, massive paella pans, real hotdogs, pea & wasabi soup, candyfloss, free mince pies in the shops - no free fudge though
