That's terrible Even if she's still looking into it (and really, all it needs is for her to ask the teacher) she should get back to you to let you know it's ongoing.

Well, about an hour ago, I received a response from the Headteacher.......

She spoke to the teacher who has reflected on what happened and realises now that it has caused upset to children and parents, she told me how the teacher gave her an account of what happened and why she done it and then went on to say how the teacher spoke to the children and the head teacher spoke with them too.

Oh, and an apology!

Lesson learnt - I hope - don't be such an idiot when it comes to teaching young kids!!
