Oh that's a nice one Di 8-) We really need a barbeque, Mick has suggested building one, but if he doesn't get round to it I will buy one - Becks wants to have one for her 18th which is in August :)

I think needing the new washer will be a mixed blessing in a way - my old LG was very snazzy but had very long wash cycles (expensive :? ) and could be very temperamental. This new one is more basic, so simpler, and has much quicker wash cycles 8-)

I was impressed with the speed of delivery too - especially as it is free! Good old Currys 8-) :D

That model is £10 cheaper on Amazon BUT the argos one comes with a free cover (£11-odd), 3 kg of charcoal and tongs and a flipper thingy so it's a bargain :) Plus nectar points ;)

Mine's a washer/drier, Indesit, also quite basic. It has some very good points, a 30-min wash, plus you can choose the temperature including cold. I'm sure I remember Weka saying in Oz and NZ they do all their washing on cold.
I use it in summer especially, for things like thin shirts and t-shirts, 30 mins on cold, perfect :)
