About Avon. We've had a catalogue the last couple of months from a local Avon lady. My Mom has had a regular Avon lady for some years now and whenever she gets a new catalogue my Dad always wants to treat me to something and won't take no for an answer so I always try to find something cheap, like a £1 shower gel. I love some of their perfumes but if I ordered from their lady then I know that they'd insist on paying, so I don't. Mom had a sample perfume phial earlier in the year and I said I liked it. Dad said I should order a full sized bottle but I just ordered some shampoo.
When the order came through, there was my shampoo...and a bottle of the perfume and the matching body lotion.

I had a lovely Avon lady for the last few years I lived in the UK.

When I told her I was moving to Spain she made me up a basket of Avon goodies to take with me..I was so touched.

I still have, somewhere, the very first lipstick I ever owned and it's an Avon one, a really vivid cerise pink. Very, very 80s
