It rained solidly until about 5 then it turned to snow and is settling and still coming down quite heavily

Similar here, drizzle turned to light snow about 7:00 and we now have a covering of nearly an inch, it's still falling gently.

We have had torrential rain all day, interspersed with snow and then it started to change to just snow at about 5pm.

We have a couple of inches now but it is pretty wet - I am just hoping that it doesn't freeze over night. It is unlikely that any of us will be going anywhere tomorrow if it does as the lane will be lethal to walk down (we took the cars down to lower ground earlier on as we knew it was coming).

Woke up to a light covering of snow here in Kent :(
Started to thaw but now it is snowing again.
We don`t need this as OH has an appointment for a check up
at Kings College Hospital in London on Thursday and son
is taking us by car,
Have a good day one and all :D

We've just been for a long (cold) walk on the Chase (and incidentally a mug of hot chocolate is by my side now) and it was snowing very lightly over there. Really hope it doesn't get any worse.

Yesterday and today have been flurries but nothing to speak of - it's extremely cold though. I suspect we may get more over the weekend :|

It's certainly cold enough here for snow! :| I walked into town today but it was so very cold I got the bus home, and that's most unusual these days :? We might get some this weekend I think - it said in the paper today that the winds are coming in from Siberia
