All packed ... and ready to go, apart from the travel food, and that is in the fridge.

Late shower and shave this evening, then early to bed and early to rise - 05: 30 hrs. A quick spalsh and another shave and I will be on my way.

See you all in Brum.

Saundra, it would be cheaper to fly.

Oh, it would be lovely if everyone could come, but understandable that some can't. You will all be missed! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Frank that's an early start, same as we had last week to get B to Gatwick    I will be having brekkie, chucking a few bits into my tiny case on wheels, and ambling down to the station just after 10am ;) :P 8-)  See you there!! xxxxxxxxxx

Saundra I looked, 3 hours 15 minutes and cheapest about £90 return for you - they don't encourage us do they

It would be cheaper for me to teleport

I looked at flights even last week, in the hope, but being between Faro and Lisbon and the logistics and the cost makes this year a sorry, but I really couldn't. Plus so much still going on :cute:

Maybe next year - before I need to re-new my passport

I will be up by 6.30, shower and hairwash, and hope to be out of the house 8.40ish to leave myself time to have a cuppa and pastry at the airport before my flight at 9.50.

My type of journey osc or yours kaz
It's changing trains I don't like you get to the expected platform then with miniutes to spare it the wrong platform then panic and escalators ho no
I like to get on a train and get of at the end of the journey at the right destination
And Birmingham station is a nightmare or it used to be

I know! The last time I got up in the middle of the night for, I think, a 7am or so flight and I was certainly not doing that again - thankfully there was a flight available at a more civilised time or I would not be going ;)
