Car mpg.
Mine has been suffering of late. I usually go to one of a couple local garages.
I noticed that I wasn't getting the same miles out of a tank of petrol, but put it down to the car getting older and the engine more worn (10 years old and 94,000 miles).
Then I read on line some rumours that some local garges were suspected of watering their petrol down (or diluting it somehow).
So, I go to Sainsbury's petrol station to fill up reasoning that they are unlikely to be pulling that sort of trick.
Result, the mieage has gone back to normal.
Which is a relief, as I was thinking maybe it was time for a new car!
