The BBC weather presenter said this morning that we’ve had the wettest March since 1981 so there’s plenty here for you Jan.

That was to make up for the dryest February, Jo

Have just booked the hotel and trains for a shopping trip to Manchester in a few weeks Helping my sister choose a Mother of the Bride outfit, and maybe something for myself too Both Becky and my niece Hannah are coming too, so a fun girls' weekend is planned

Are you shopping in the city centre or the Trafford Centre? It’s easy to get between the two by tram though now.

Knowing how hesitant my sister is at buying clothes, probably both Jo We’re staying very centrally, Hannah only has one spare bed so we’re in a Premier Inn.

She hates buying clothes and isn’t at all confident about her choices, so it will be a battle I’ve told her she will look, and more importantly feel amazing on the day, even if it kills the both of us I’m on a mission
