Good afternoon everyone.

We have been shopping this morning, and bought so much that it has taken us a long time to
put it all away, which meant having a late dinner. Now for a rest. :D :D

Hope you are all havng a good day.

Afternoon all :)
Having a perfectly lovely day, watching the rain lashing down... :D

Yours sounds so much nicer Ally :)
Lol Kaz a spreadsheet for the freezer, just how much do you have in there?!

Well I have been into town and had quite a good stomp up and down the High Street; didn't actually get too wet but it was very lucky timing, by the time I was driving home I could barely see through it  :x
I did finally get my calendar though, glad I can now delete my reminder email from the dentist :)
Oh well, soon be time to pull the curtains, then I can pretend it's not raining :P

LOL Di quite a bit, lots of meat, veg, a few ready meals, my marked down for their sell-by-date bargains, bread to keep it full. They are cheaper to run when fairly full ;) Poor Mick, he does his best to organise me

Osc, I'm glad it isn't just me with spreadsheets    Becks and Mick laugh at my lack of skills with them

Jen let us know how you get on with the soup maker, I eat a lot of soup in the winter and am happy to make it in a saucepan or my slowcooker then just zap it with my whizzy hand-held gadget, but I do think about a soup maker now and again 8-)

Aggers it can wear you out, this shopping lark ;) :)

It is wet wet wet out there! Just drizzly at lunchtime when we went out, but it's got heavier and heavier during the afternoon :? Luckily we've been under cover for most of it  It's bouncing off the tarmac outside now, and normally the dogs are fretting for a walk by now, but are curled on the carpet looking most uninterested :P They'll just get a quick trot round the block if it keeps up, no way can they go on the field in this! We are having soup and baguette for 'dinner' - Mick and B are having sausage baguettes (I had some posh pork and tomato chutney ones in the freezer) but I'll just have a little of the plain bread with mine :) It's certainly soup weather!

Hi all - well no snow for us yet, just more and more rain!!!

Managed to get to work this morning, despite feeling awful....T has gone to D's to look after the littlies there while they are on one of D's 30th birthday celebrations!! They come back sometime tomorrow, I feel terribly guilty not going over to give him a hand, especially as it's bee arranged for ages and D was worried when she knew I wouldn't be there.....Amys at work till 6 but she's going to pop in and help T with bedtime etc and then he's sleeping over there tonight, not sure if A will as well, she stayed here last night as she and her dad went to the race track and our dog won her race, again :D :D :D Sooo just Jen and I tonight, not sure what we'll do yet, might get a pizza or something, we've watched the film Se7en this afternoon, not seen it before.

Ally your day sounds lovely, but as someone else said, your visitor will need another holiday to recover from this one

Kaz yes sadly 8am on a Saturday IS a real time ;) , lol and people can make as much noise as they need to. Bit rich that your neighbour was so 'off' about the dogs but he probably sees this as retribution

Have a good rest of Saturday xx

Sorry you aren't too well Gal, hope you and J have a lovely relaxing evening. You could hardly be expected to go out and help with childcare, so I'm quite sure they'll manage! ((x))

Oh he's a prize **** the new neighbour, apparently he's even complained about Cooper who is an adorable little spaniel who lives a door or two down. I've never heard Cooper barking in the garden - I think he just hates dogs :?  I have worked on Saturdays myself before now ;)
