Morning all, nice and bright here, I debated getting Mr Osc to hang out the towels but then decided not to as I would not be able to take them in if the weather disimproved, as he has now gone to play golf. In a while I will hobble to the butcher's and get something for tonight's dinner, otherwise will just potter around and then do some reading.

Ally I give up, what's a pitufo? - according to google it's a smurf

 I want to know too, was putting in various words to make it a rude acronym  Jen, I can't get any inspiration for presents although I did buy a few cards yesterday. Have a good day everyone :)

What would Papa Smurf say?

A pitufo is about a good third of the length of a baguette. It usually gets filled with cheese, cheese and ham or tuna. It's then popped into a George Foreman type grilly thing for a couple of minutes till the filling all melts.

They are divinely delicious and only cost €1.40 in my favourite cafe bar. :D :D :D

  Laughing my socks off here, at fartons and toasted smurfs :P

Well I survived the zumba - actually it went ok, the hardest thing for me was picking up the steps as I have a crap sense of rhythm and I've never been able to dance (they tried to teach us ballroom at grammar school  ) but I did ok for a first attempt, I think. I am actually going to do it twice a week, once on Mondays after WW and again on a Wednesday night, at Hucclecote library. I going to go with Emma from WW. The classes are all held by Jane who is a WW Gold Member, and is lovely 8-) :)

That's the good news, the bad news is I gained 2lbs this time   Mostly I think, thanks to yesterday's copious wine and nibbles at the christening yesterday   Never mind, I'll shift that this week 8-) :)

Nom nom to all the stews - I think I'll get my slow cooker out tomorrow as I bought some marked down braising beef yesterday 8-) 8-)
