Morning all, dull and dreary here but it has stopped raining and apparently is to clear up more later. I need to clean our bathroom and organise laundry, all these take things take longer than usual at the moment. I want to go to the library later, but will need Mr Osc with me as I can get myself there and back on the crutches but can't carry books. So that will be when he gets back from golf, as the library isn't open this morning. I have a few old coins to put up on ebay so I'll work on that this afternoon. Have a good day everyone :)

Berlimey, it's warm out there 8-) 8-)

Just yomped down to the village and back, spoke to a couple of friends and neighbours, so by now the whole village will know we've sold - almost.

Today is Weekly Shop day, and the Ostrich managed to excel itself. Usually it forgets the store vouchers. Today it remembered the store vouchers - but forgot the shopping list.

So the bird wandered the aisles relying entirely on memory - and in the event was about 92% successful!

Unfortunately, however, he forgot Mrs O's favourite 6 pack of luxury chocolate mousses ......

Afternoon :)
Lol Osc that was my first thought :D

Another horrible, dark, mizzly day...we did manage a little while in the garden earlier so it's looking a bit better but needs a few more sessions yet.
We have the cricket on (England v Pakistan, one day) which started very badly but not so awful now.
It's from Abu Dhabi and our friend Liz Smith is there with her brother, I managed to use said modern phone to get a photo of them on the telly :D

An afternoon for curling up with my book I think :)

 I saw the photo Di, Liz didn't look very enthused :D

I've been busy, stripped the bed, put clean linen on it, hoovered and dusted the bedroom, hoovered the stairs with the rechargeable - once I'd cleaned off the long hairs that were clogging the brush ( ) - then walked up to Sainsbury's as we were low on bread and goats' milk - baaaaaa!! :P   Came home with the aforesaid plus a pair of half-price trousers

Osc that must be sooo frustrating! :( Any idea how long you might need the crutches for? :?

Ossie, I would have sent you back! :P ;)

Dunno :? They said no driving for at least a week and that I would know when I felt ok for it, two weeks or more for dancing. I can shuffle around the house a bit without them, but don't want to put unnecessary pressure on the foot. I only go back to the clinic if it doesn't get better. The swelling has gone down a lot although it does get sore. Seeing my physio on Friday, so will know more then.
