URGENT: TalkTalk cyber attack.

The problem, as I saw it, was that TT didn't encrypt their users data in the database. I thought that after the LinkedIn hack some 2 or 3 years ago, everyone saw the light and encrypted their user data.

Clearly I was wrong.

Don't be sure about the "next few months" thing. 2 weeks ago a whole load of people in my contacts from 2010, which were imported into LinkedIn, were receiving spam mail supposedly from me but with a Swedish mail address..... So this may take as long as 5 years to work itself out of the system...
