Emporium! That's posh... and in Birmingham as well :o :P :P

My place is more a 'put it there it will sell' sort of place. And as it is full of every nationality you can think of it must be OK. 8-)

Oh the shop I go to is just the same WM...a huge place rammed full of every imaginable spice known to man. :D :D :D I just jazz it up a bit and call it an emporium!

And I do believe the new shopping mall in New Street station has emporiums which Kaz and I will be mooching in next June.

   Ally.

I got 1kg of ground cumin and 1kg of smoked paprika along with turmeric and okra and dried ginger, then I spied an Indian spice grinder....

I had to leave it. I had already done him out of his spring roll profits. Grinding my own spices would be a step too far - for now. ;)

I'm hoping for a large breakfast again at the Briar Rose.

The spices are so cheap at the shop I go to in Brum....£1.79 for a kilo of chilli flakes is great! :D :D

All the dried spices, rogan josh, garam masala, etc are all as cheap as chips....I can't wait to stock up my spice cupboard.

There's a bazaar in our town here that sells ground ginger for 70 cents a half kilo. That'll do for me.

I know! The chilli flakes are that for a small jar from a big brand name in the supermarket.

People need to get out more.
