NHS Dental Charges

I used to see the hygenist but since buying an electric toothbrush I haven't had to see one. Money well spent.

Me too Molly, and I only use it about once a fortnight

We did have big problem, no vacancies locally, but a new practice opened so we both signed on sharpish
They do display the prices quite well, and yes, if the dentist does the scale and polish it's included with the check-up but if you see the hygienist that's private and costs more. It is a more thorough job, but you don't have to have it if you don want to.

The NHS have to provide you with an NHS dentist if you want one. It can be difficult - I have to travel to Cheltenham from Gloucester for mine - but it is their duty!

There just weren't any within something like a 40 or 50 mile radius here. I believe one came into our little town a year or so ago and they were queueing down the street and round the corner to sign up. They were soon full.

Oh that's far too far to travel Cheltenham is very close, only about 6 miles, and I like going to Cheltenham so I didn't really mind. 40 miles is ridiculous
