Thank you so much everyone! a tenner is what I had in mind as well but really wasn't sure if that wasn't being a bit mean :D Ally, I know exactly which towels you mean and did think of getting one of those; so that's what I'll do and maybe a little something else.

And then when baby is born it'll get baby gap socks as they really really are the only ones that don't fall off :lol: But they're usually quite gender coloured hence waiting for baby's birth

I found I had way too many clothes, but had to buy towels, and mine used theirs for 3 years, so they got a lot of use.

I bought those towels for Kellie, and also for my nieces' babies - they always have a nice selection in TKMaxx, at very reasonable prices.
