Morning all

a beautiful sunny morning here, meant to be a lovely weekend as well which is fab!

Ally & Ton, enjoy your respective days
Weka, glad S is feeling a bit better and hopefully both she and O will catch up on their sleep soon. I get very ratty when I'm tired so they (and you) have my sympathies
Morning Saundra :D

Kaz, not sure what to suggest - on the one hand yes they should definitely have come back to you by now; on the other hand there is a slim chance they're away on summer hols (but then they should have told you that and that they would be a while getting back to you) - hmm, poor form either way really

Usual work day for me, then a quick stop off at the shops on my way home to pick up some groceries. My mom was saying that Frank is bringing Tristan back to the UK tomorrow so I suspect he'll be staying at mine tomorrow night, but as I haven't heard anything from Frank I'm not sure - typical brother! So I'll stock up with a few extras just in case

Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Morning :)
Beautiful here, properly summery :D

It's been a stupidly stressy morning one way and another so am now sitting here with a treat coffee :)

We had sort of plans but it's all gone a bit awry :? Nothing awful, just irritating really :x

Tonight though we're going out courtesy of Sainsburys :)
Got an email saying you could exchange 1,000 nectar points for two pizzas at Pizza Express, so I did :)
The points are worth naff all and I hardly ever get to Sainsburys so win-win :D

Glad Sasha's getting better Weka :)
Sounds like you're all having a good day - possibly excepting Grumpy - so hope you enjoy it

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

WW are a very good company Kaz, but I agree they're not being very professional with you. I've read somewhere they're going through a reorganisation, possibly selling the UK company certainly their first quarter results weren't good. Might be the reason for the delay, there again I might have got that wrong. It could be as simple as delays due to holiday, but someone should have let you know. Either way when they do eventually get back to you, best to be completely honest and let them know you're not impressed and it's made you question if it's what you want to do.

We're popping into the village later, only need a few bits and nothing heavy so we'll use the loop, it's free for us both so silly not to take advantage. I'm not too sure how the concessionary thing works, I qualified when I was 60 but as that was my official retirement age no surprises there. E's not actually due for state retirement until he's 65 so not for another 2yrs come this December, but apparently that's not the criteria for bus passes. When I was applying for mine we found out he actually qualified this July so he's got a pass too now. Really not complaining though, so far the cars only been off the front once this week :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, it was a nice sunny morning but has clouded over now and got cooler. I had a physio appointment earlier and she did some work in the neck and shoulder area which always makes me tired so I have been taking it easy since I got home. However, I've had my lunch and need to get a move on - we are going to Cork tomorrow until Monday for my grand nephew's christening on Sunday, so I need to do some ironing and pack a few clothes, then we have to go and get our train tickets when Mr Osc gets home from golf. Free travel here too Jen, a wondeful thing! Chilli for dinner tonight, and we will probably finish watching the West Wing box set - we have been binge watching it and just have three episodes left, loved it when it was on originally, and loving it all over again. Enjoy the rest of your day :)

Oops, read your "I got it" thread before this one Kaz.....glad it's sorted anyway 8-) :D

Started out gorgeous here, I havent been sleeping well recently (think my BP meds side effects of a tickly cough are getting to me a bit!) so got up and had a lazy brekkie, then headed off to Asda for my weekly shop, got home as Jen was leaving to head off to Newcastle to spend the day with a friend, I had a quick coffee and the out again to have a fringe trim, and then met Jan (work mate) for lunch at the village coffee shop 8-) When I got home (to a lovely empty house) I headed into the garden with the electric saw.....I can do some damage with that once I get started!! Trimmed all the ivy and stuff down the side of the house (the ivy climbs our side, it was ever so thick and dense) and also tidied up a bit in the garden.....tell you what, the blinkin' saw is heavy!!! My arms are killing me  :( Anyway tis done, still need both conifers trimmed at the front but they will have to wait....

Fish and chips for tea I think 8-)

It has clouded over now.
