We're always promised it Vic but I think that's just to make us feel a bit better :D
I really do hope that by then we'll be well into a lovely summer :)

All those poor people, driving endless hours on motorways, in this lot - and then pitching a tent :o  :!: :P

I know... personally I'd be checking the weather forecast beforehand and only setting off if it promised to stay dry. I'd rather forfeit the camping money and be happy than miserable in a wet cold tent

It's the New Forest show from Tuesday this week, there will be an awful lot of people who have booked stalls, with no choice :?
And the Netley Marsh steam fair, another huge event, was Friday till today, most of those stallholders and exhibitors camp too :(
It's such a shame.

Good morning, wet wet wet here and I don't mean Marty Pellow and his friends. The heavy rain has eased off and it's now mizzley and not that warm...I am sitting here trying to pretend my feet are not cold but I think I will have to succumb to a pair of socks shortly

We are going to Miss Osc's house around 1pm to babysit Kellie while they take Michael and his cousin to the circus, she did ask if we would like to stay for dinner but we said no - they have been having a nice family weekend, so we thought we would let them finish it out without us hanging around. Nothing else planned. Have a good day everyone :)

you must be one of the few on here that has sunshine Saundra, enjoy it while it lasts; and so pleased you've got butterflies visiting - too wet here for them; poor things. Although my white buddleja / buddleia (whichever you prefer) hasn't started flowering yet, the buds are there but not in bloom. The yellow round one has already finished

It's hammering it down here - started about an hour ago. At least it stayed dry for this mornings excitement at Peak 2015. Looking on FB the scouts and guides had Bear Grylls arrive for a visit - arrived by helicopter.

So L will be getting wet whatever she is doing, S is at a friends house dip dyeing each other's hair and after a morning of jobs we are doing nothing. I'm about to get my cross stitch out.
