Very excited!.....Updated

We got a bus from Positano to Sorrento, when for some reason the driver let on a group of locals when the bus was already packed, so we were all jammed in like sardines. Mr Osc gave his seat to an elderly woman, and I gave mine to a young woman who was feeling sick who then promptly threw up (and she was part of the local group ). We had to stand hanging on for dear life for over an hour on the twisty road, trying to keep our balance while the driver threw the bus around - we were so relieved when we finally staggered off in Sorrento! So hopefully a nice airconditioned coach will be an improvement on that experience

Now that sounds like my idea of total total hell. In fact I'd get off and walk, I could not be on that bus

The trip was worth every cent - perhaps the best day trip we've ever done. The scenery was spectacular, every time you turned a corner there was another gasp-inducing vista. We loved the train, saw our first ever glaciers and some beautiful lakes. St Moritz is very glitzy and posh, but beautiful, we had brought a picnic and sat up a little above the lake in perfect temperatures enjoying the food and the view. The bus drive back was great too, more amazing scenery. Our guide was really good, didn't try to overload us with information, just let the scenery speak for itself.

It is extremely hot here, hopefully we might get a little cooling breeze as the night goes on. It's a tough life but someone has to do it
