So when is the next trip and where to? ;)

Our next trip, Meriad, is to Birmingham later this month, when we are going to meet some of my old VV friends.

Then in August we are going to Buckingham Palace, followed by a trip and a meal on the Thames.

In September we are having a week's self-catering holiday in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Hi there Aggers.

You must come to the Isle of Man we have quite a few promenades, Douglas has one over 2 miles long with sunken flower beds and palm trees, and many hotels and apartments with sea views.

We also get sunshine on many days of the year, being in the gulf stream it is milder here than the UK in winter but never gets as hot either as we are a small island surrounded by the Irish sea.

We have been to the IOM many years ago, so I don't think we will be coming your way again,
as our aim now is to go to places we are not familiar with.
Also, I'm not too keen on sea or air travel.
