Mornng all.

We were up and out early, leaving the girls in bed. Off to Padstow to collect the JJ Adams print of (a very alternative) Audrey Hepburn that we bought on Saturday for silly money. I'll put a photo on - it's like Marmite. You'll either love it or hate it.

Last full day of holiday. We're off to Tintagel so girls can spend some money on tat and then out for a meal tonight.

Good afternoon everybody.
Aren't the roads quiet with the schools being shut.
Up early to collect prescriptions from our surgery. We can order them online, but have to pick up the paper ones to take to the chemist
It opens at 8.15 a.m, and I like to be the first one in.
Then back home for a coffee, got changed and went to the bank and did some shopping and collect the prescriptions.
Have managed to mow the lawn this afternoon.
Cloudy with a cold wind but no rain yet.

My appointment was a bit more unpleasant than I'd imagined, she couldn't get a vein up properly and the doc had ordered enough tests to require six little phials full :? It took half an hour to get it sorted - the nurse was contemplating going into the back of my hand at one point - she was very nice and very apologetic but now I have a big hard bruise coming up  My own fault really, I've been warned in the past to drink lots of water before a blood test but I completely forgot this time

The ECG didn't take long, but she wouldn't discuss it with me so the results will have to wait until I go back in two weeks for the blood results ;) I toddled into town after and treated myself to a well-deserved cuppa and teacake :P 8-)

Oooh ouchy Kaz (((xx)))

Yes, apparently the water really does help - too late now though :|

You can imagine how paranoid I've become, they're only doing blood tests every 3 months instead of monthly because thankfully the readings have been ok each time, but even so it now hurts as they do it. I've never minded them at all, it's just a worry.
And getting stuff in is harder than getting blood out  :? x

Oh, that is not good Kaz    But hope you're feling better soonest xx

I used to have to have a blood tst every 6 weeks, and they always used the same arm  and when I compained about it being sore, I was told that I was making it up. No, I'm not, If you have to have a needle or anything stuck in the same place for years, it wil be sore. But would they change arms?? Would they heck.

And always, but always drink a lot ( ish) of water for a few days before - my veins are brilliant, apparantly      because I drink at least 2 litres of water a day.
