Managed a few hours sleep :D

Then started wheezing, so I'm up, as it eases when you're uupright and I've risked taking just one puff of ventolin. So that feels better :D

A mug of camomile (yuk) tea, a read of my book down here, then I'll wander upstairs again, later.

I'm going to buy all the staff in the clinic some gorgeous squishy cakes tomorrow - they were all brilliant. My doctor was just finishing for the day, but I stopped her, she was very thorough, before getting the receptionist to ring for an ambulance, to begin with, she was saying I could get myself to hospital. That was before she started taking my blood pressure

I'm sure it's just the ventolin, I've had these before, but never as bad or as prolonged as this. Scary. Very scary.

Now that would be scary  They salute you before they speak you, all carry guns and have the shortest hair-cuts imaginable   But always polite, apart from the prat who stopped us just outside Olhao a few weeks ago.

We were coming out of Aldi's and then were going round the roundabout, when this police car, with all its lights flashing away came up to the halt sign, just before we were about to go round. So Grumpy stopped, as you do. We got waved on, so carried on driving, with the police car behind, lights still flashing away. This carried on for a couple of minutes, then he put his siren on and we pulled over.

For the first time ever, we weren't saulted and he wanted to know if it's normal to stop on a roundabout. And he wasn't polite about it, quite the opposite

Give Grumpy his due, he was polite back and said that he was taught to stop when an emergency vehicle, with all the lights flashing was at the roundabout and emergency vehicles always take precedence.

The daft policeman hadn't realised all his lights were on. But no, apology from him, just a quick glance at our documents and a slight blush of cheek, and we were sent on our way.

Ton do you have a 'preventer' inhaler, a brown steroid based one? I used to get pretty bad asthma at one time (married to my first H it was probably stress related :? ) and it was prescribed so I wouldn't have to use the blue ventolin one as often, to stop the ventolin side effects.

Take care today, you were the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning - worried about you :( (((((x)))))

Aw. thanks Kaz xx

I used to, but that was years and years ago. I've had asthma since I was tiny, so know what to do/what not to do. The air here and pollen, is really bad this year, it's even in the English paper  Also used to use Seretide, with an spacer. Also had nebuliser, several hospital visits and loads of steroids   One of the reasons for moving ;)

I'll ask down in the chemist, see if I can get one without prescription.

Feel okay, sniffy, but okay this morning.

Thank you for worrying xx

Thanks Saundra xx

Kaz, everyone's asthma is triggered by something different, mine can be emotional, but yesterdays certainly wasn't
