Hello everyone :D :D Happy Mothers Day xx

Had a solo day today - Jen has been working all day and T had commitments at the farm, all prearranged, so fair dos. J and I went out last night just the two of us, a nice meal and some wine and quality mum and daughter time, lots of giggling and chatter :D T's girls have both texted me, and I got a box of Maltesers and a small bunch of roses off Amy on Friday when she came to stay 8-) Also got some flowers from Jen :D

I went for a 5 mile walk along the river banks in Durham after I'd done some ironing, washing etc etc....I got a map my walk app for my phone the other day and hve now done five "workouts" :D Was a lovely brisk walk, and then when T had finished we had a nip across to the sea and did a small amble along the beach and finished with a slice of cake and a latte :D 8-)

ETA Just found a bag that D left with gifts from the little'uns - we must have missed them when we went to the beach :(

Missing my mam loads as I always do...but I am not sad, she had a long life (had me later in life) and mostly a happy one. No tears here, just very fond memories :)

Thanks hun, I did enjoy it :D

This app is encouraging too - shows you how many steps you've taken, your pace, how many miles you've done - great stuff 8-)
