Afternoon :)
I've been up (almost) as long as usual but a bit kernackerred today.
Bb got home early afternoon yesterday so we were able to go over to friend to see if we could sort out her phone.
Also, she'd said she now has an ipad and that there was broadband there but no emails from her either...

We managed to sort out the broadband; apparently she has a roaming contract with Bt so all we had to do was enter her Bt password - one success :)
And managed to show her how to reply to emails ;)
There was no signal showing on her phone, but without boring you with all the details, it was to do with it being added to her son's contract. When we were back home, Bb reckoned it might just need switching off and on again, like rebooting a pc.

She came last night for dinner, we tried that and hey presto :D It spent the next 15 minutes beeping with messages :)
I made us a lovely Thai meal and we had a good evening - but having done all that, plus a visit to Lidl en route, I'm good for nothing now :D
We're all going to Prezzo tonight so no cooking for me - although I must actually convert the Tesco vouchers and book the table :D

It's been raining all morning but looks as if it might be stopping some time soon - more due tonight
Good luck with the offer Jen, and hope Don has a good trip

Evening all, it's been mostly a dreary cold day weatherwise. We spent the morning bringing loads of our boxes from where we have them stored - where did we get all that stuff, even after a massive decluttering before packing them :o  So there is more decluttering to be done (we actually thought there would be), we emptied a few of the boxes already and are being ruthless. We decided to have or main meal at lunchtime so we wouldn't have to cook this evening, and went to the pub next door where I had a really tasty fish pie. Since then I've emptied another couple of boxes and had a nap in my chair  We are babysitting this evening, so will head off to Miss Osc's for 7.30 so we can see Michael before he goes to bed. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday everyone :)

Good point Saundra!

Osc, we were ruthless, or so we thought, before we moved but we've still been ruthless with the stuff stored in the garage twice since then - and John wants to paint the garage floor at some point which will mean emptying it all out and he said it'll give us chance to have another good sort out
4 years and still nothing in the loft ;)
