Weka that's excellent news - I hope your FIL continues to make a good recovery 8-) :D

Lissie that's terrible - think I would be tempted to ring the police, especially regarding any damage :? :( Happy Birthday to your OH :D :D xxx

Well my MIL is going out to her lunch as the roads are better today - I need to get out and about as I'm getting cabin fever, so will walk to the top of the main road before making the decision - a bus or walk to town or a walk up to the supermarket!  It will depend on what the pavements feel like underfoot

Good morning all, still no snow here, although there has been plenty of rain. It's brightened up a bit now though, but very cold. Mr. Osc has gone to our old building to do some work, and I reckon, like Di, I need to do h/work to keep me warm  If I get it done this morning, I can do a bit of reading this afternoon, or we could catch up on some of the stuff we recorded when we were out yesterday evening. Debih, fingers crossed that the op works for your Dad this time around and hopefully Millie continues to improve. Happy Birthday to Mr. L! Have a good day everyone :)

Afternoon all, the snow is still falling here. The boys have no school today but a text half an hour ago said that they hope to be open tomorrow. John dug the car out to go to work this morning and just about managed to get off the close.
I've been to the gym and then walked into the town centre for a few bits before trudging the 2 miles back home. I usually go into the town on a Wednesday or Thursday but thought I'd pick up what I usually get then, today, while the paths are still quite walkable.

Lissie that's awful, I think that like Kaz I'd have been inclined to have called the police. I hope they've not done any damage to your fence.

Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone. We don't have snow falling, but it is VERY cold here! The high today is expected to get to 2 degrees F. The temps will drop to about a minus 15 tonight. So I am hoping my car will start in the morning. Brrrrr!

Oh brrrrrrr that sounds so cold Elaine (((((((((x))))))))))

Most of the snow here has gone, thankfully! I got to the main road and decided to walk to town and it was fine! The city centre was very clear and I got a few bits of shopping - some wonderful bargains for Harry in the Debenhams sale, new shirts at 70% off, one was Ted Baker and only £5.10! Then a good old mooch in the Poundshop where I got some more bird feed and a feeder, and a cute squirrel ornament for the garden, and a new collar for Pepper 8-) :D Walked home then, but popped in to see D, who was back from her lunch, on the way :) I feel a lot better for the long walk 8-) :)
