Morning all

Debih, glad your dad is home but what a farce re the medication and the shoes :( sigh.... and I think it's a good idea for your mom to pop to the neighbour once in a while whilst the carers are in looking after your dad. She'll need some time away

Kaz, hope the hip is better and you get to your appointment

Have a lovely day all xxx

Afternoon all, it's a pretty dreary day here, damp and a bit mizzley but not cold. Mind you when I was out and about earlier it was not too bad two miles down the road!! I've been to collect our travel documents and am back now to make a few calls, defuzz my legs and finish the packing before heading to the airport at 4pm. I feel very sinusey and headachey but have taken two Anadin and hopefully they will do the trick, and maybe I might get a snooze on the flight. Will try and log in while we are away to say hello. Behave yourselves while I am away!! :D :D

Good afternoon all.

It's been a dry morning here but it looks now as though it might rain soon.

Apart from my morning walk, I've been busy preparing for my next Golden Oldies Music Night,
which will be just before Christmas. It's surprising how much time this takes, as I am a bit of
a perfectionist when it comes to music. But I'm getting there.

Hope you all have a good day.

Afternoon :)
Snitching some free wifi - just have to try it and see, it comes and goes :)

Just back from a killer yomp ourselves - from the marina to Torremuelle Ally, how far is that?
As Ally will know, it's not so much the distance; you can walk quite a way along the front but then have to keep going up and down very steep hills, some with steps, which makes it seem twice as far :D
We took a picnic of chicken salad and ate it on our own private beach with only egrets and cormorants for company :D
Today is back to scorchio :D

Have a fab time Osc :D

Good afternoon all! It was lovely and sunny here first thing but it's now raining. I took Billy for an extra long long walk when I got back from the gym though as this was forecast for this afternoon. I bought chocolate on the way home for the gym so I'll make brownies later if the rain stops us going for the afternoon walk.

That all sounds really lovely Di! :D

Glad your Dad's home Deb, hope the medication is easy to sort xx

Hope the hip pain eases Kaz, and the appointment goes well! xx

Have a wonderful time Osc! :D

Have a good day all!

Hi all - late on parade this week (sorry!!!) I am meeting myself coming back lately and online time is practically non-existent!

Work in particular has been extra manic - clinics are brimming and we have (as ever) staff shortages....I am really struggling to cope and I am not alone. Boss ticked me off the other day for a mistake which wasn't really my fault but we are a team and it affects all of us. I didn't mind being told when I am wrong, but he went about it completely the wrong way...might continue this on a private board actually....

Then we've spent extra time with the grandkids in prep for Saturday....mainly getting Lily used to someone other than her mum lol!! Last night we all met up to watch a fireworks display....it was fab, thoroughly enjoyed it - we had hot dogs and hot coffee whilst watching (it was in the village, and organised one) 8-)

Today I did a grocery shop, went and met Jan for lunch and then on to get some bits. Jen is working this evening so we have some alone time - finally!! :D

Sorry to hear you have been in pain Kaz, hope the paras helped x

Di your hols sound gorgeous! Enjoy! Osc hope you have a brill time in Malta, we were there many years ago :D

Hugs to all (((((((((((())))))))))
