thats interesting, its a sun catcher and should be hung where the light catches it. It is attached to a long ribbon

I bought one for my friend Chrisi who said she loved it and had hung it in her lounge window. So I bought one for my sister in law for her 50th and finally she text me and said thank you for the present very unusual, it will look lovely on the the christmas tree, which threw me completely

What is it made of Shell? My MIL has a few sun catchers and they are all crystal, coloured glass etc :) That is really pretty, but if I had received it as a gift I would have thought it was a tree ornament too

I think it's really pretty - didn't realise they were called sun catchers :)

My friend referred to it as a sun catcher, not sure if that is what they are specifically called

Thanks for the link Shell, I'll boomark it. I'd like one for my lovely friend Ruth but it's not her birthday until April. :)

The April one is pretty. I am going to buy an October and a November one, but I hope they realise what they are
